Chris Ann Burns

Chris Ann Burns of Mesquite, Texas, beloved and cherished mother and friend, passed from this physical life to start her eternal life on May 5, 2021. Chris was preceded in death by her sons Jonathan Burns and William Burns. Chris was born on April 4, 1954 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Chris worked for the Dallas County Tax Office from 1983 through 2015. Here she would meet many life-long friends who she remained close with years after she retired. Chris had many hobbies but her favorites were sewing and cross stitching to make beautiful works of art as well as collecting beautiful antique pieces. Chris was a very godly woman who read her Bible daily and enjoyed journaling from scripture. Chris is survived by her loving son Charles Burns and his wonderful wife Megan Burns of Mesquite, Texas. Chris lived each day for her God and her sons. Charles cannot remember a day when she was not reading from her Bible and praying over her family. Charles and Megan took care of Chris and now she is reunited with her son’s Jonathan and William “Bill”. Chris is also survived by many other family members and friends that will miss her greatly. Fly high with the angel’s momma until we meet again.
