Cindy Ackley

December 8, 1960 — September 30, 2020

Cynthia “Cindy” Anne Ackley, age 59, of Mesquite, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 30, 2020. Cindy was born on December 8, 1960, in Dallas, Texas. She was married August 14, 1987, to the love her of her life Allen Lee Ackley. Cindy was a loving wife, but an even more amazing mother to her two beautiful daughters, Amy Michelle and Sarah Louise. Her life was complete when she became a Grandmother to her pride and joy, Elizabeth “Ellie” Grace.

 

She enjoyed her time as a massage therapist, writing poetry, spending time in her garden, discovering new things and researching family history, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

 

Cindy had a passion for inspiring others. She touched many lives through her words of encouragement and her continual positive outlook on life. Cindy never met a stranger. She was kind and welcoming to every person she encountered. She always kept those around her laughing. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, caring heart and joyful spirit.

 

Cindy was proceeded in death by father, John H Saulsman, Jr. and mother, Martha Louise Graham.

 

Cindy is survived by husband, Allen Lee Ackley; daughters, Amy Michelle Ashcraft and Sarah Louise Ackley; son-in-law, Josh Ashcraft; granddaughter, Elizabeth “Ellie” Grace Ackley; sister, Penny Patterson and husband Allen; brother, John “Jay” Saulsman III and wife Jennie, along with her extended family and special friends.

 

Please join us as we celebrate the of life of Cindy on Saturday, October 3 at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas. Visitation at 2pm with service immediately following at 3pm.
