Clairessa Craig

Clairessa Ann Craig, born on October 27, 1983, in Dallas, Texas, departed this world far too soon on June 12, 2025. She was a radiant soul, whose infectious smile and warm heart could light up any room. Clairessa embodied joy, always ready with a joke to share and a laugh to spread. Her love knew no bounds, especially for her beloved son, Casen, with whom she cherished every moment.

A proud graduate of North Mesquite High School and the University of Texas at Dallas, Clairessa held a Bachelor's degree that marked not just her academic success but her relentless pursuit of knowledge and self-improvement. She found great joy in dancing, singing, and dressing up, embracing life with a spirit that was vibrant and full of grace. Her kindness extended to all creatures, particularly her cherished dogs, Oliver and Rover, and her cat, Nola, who filled her home with warmth and companionship.

Clairessa leaves behind a tapestry of love woven with the threads of family and friendship. Preceded in death by her husband, Chad Craig. She is survived by her son, Casen; her father, Rey Sereseroz; her mother, Linda Sereseroz; her sister, Natalie Pena; brother-in-law, Lee Pena; as well as her adoring nephew, Finley Pena, and niece, Gracelynn Pena. Along with her Grandmother, loving aunts and uncles, and countless cousins.

A memorial service will be held on June 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation starting at 1:00 PM. As we gather to honor Clairessa's life, we will remember her infectious laughter, her unwavering compassion, and the beautiful moments she gifted us all. She may have left this world, but her spirit will remain forever in our hearts.
