Clara Mae McDill

Clara Mae Mellon McDill, age 99, passed away peacefully Monday, September 6th 2021.Clara was born on February 19th, 1922 to parents Grady and Lilly Mellon. Clara married Carl McDill in January of 1945 in Pensacola, Florida. Clara worked with the Civil Service while being a dedicated military wife. Her adventures included accompanying her husband at various military bases, including Texas, Alabama,California, Florida, and Japan. Clara was a joyous spirit that lit up a room, loved others well, and strived to be more like Jesus. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl McDill, her daughter Linda McDill, brothers Clarence Mellon and Rolland Mellon, sisters Christine Forrester, Gladys Foster, Jessie Galliher, and Aline Stewart, along with her parents Grady and Lilly Mellon. Clara is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Katie McDill, sister Pearl Stewart and husband Van, grandchildren Charla Turner and husband Joe, Paul McDill and wife Jill, Carrie Austin and husband Keith, along with her great-grandchildren Kylee Loustaunau and husband Tonny, Chanlynn Bane and husband Justin,Caleb McDill, Caden Turner, Corbyn Austin, Kyndall Austin, Tindall Turner, Noah McDill, Joshua McDill, Julia McDill, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
