Clifford was born November 15, 1953 to Voy Lee and Minnie Wiggins. Having Left the south during the great migration His mother traveled back to the south to her home of Batesville, Mississppi to give birth to him and his twin sister Claudia, who preceded him in death.
Clifford was raised in Chicago southside with his siblings, John Lee, (deceased) Claudia, (deceased) Zedrick, (Memphis TN) Cynthia, (Deceased) and his youngest brother, William (Seattle Washington). Growing up Clifford was very popular and favored among his friends and family, a wonderful sense of humor and loyal friend, brother, son, nephew and grandchild. Clifford was beloved and cherished by all those he encountered and encountered him. Clifford attended Bethany Christian High School and enlisted in the Marine Corp where he was stationed in Japan and served his country for 6 years before returning home to Chicago to begin life as a civilian but more importantly, a Father. He leaves to mourn his passing six lovely daughters, Tanisha (San Diego, CA) Tamika, Toya, Tanae, Verneder (Chicago, IL) Donna (Minneapolis MN) and one son, Clifford Jr. (Indianapolis, IN), He also leaves many wonderful grandchildren nephews, nieces, across the nation from San Diego, to Atlanta, and from Chicago to Dallas Texas. He leaves to mourn one Aunt, Mertis Odom (Markham, IL) and a host of friends, in-laws, and a church family that spans the globe.
Most importantly, he leaves to mourn his cherished, loving and faithful wife Stephanie who was by his side as he passed from this life to the next. Clifford’s brother’s have often said, “It was Stephanie that completed him, In her presence he shines. Clifford has departed this world but his spirit and memory will always bring those who knew him, light in the darkest of times, a light that will never dim.
