David Kenneth Clark

David Kenneth Clark passed away peacefully on October 16, 2026. He was born on August 2, 1939, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Tom Wesley Clark and Fannie A. Murray Clark.

Commonly known to his family as "Kenneth," he was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Gloria Janell Clark, with whom he shared 59 wonderful years of marriage. He was also a loving father to David K. Clark II, John Wesley Clark and Desiree Dawn Clark Tarter.

Kenneth was an avid outdoorsman who found great joy in fishing and hunting. He was a loyal fan of all the local sports teams and could spend hours enjoying his favorite games. He had a special love for animals, who always seemed naturally drawn to him. In his later years, some of his happiest moments were spent sitting on the back porch, smoking his cigars and watching the birds, rabbits, squirrels and lizards that come to visit. He always had a new story to share about whatever little visitor had stopped by that day.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Fannie Clark; his sisters, Patsy Harper, Valerie West and Paulette Willman; his brother, Wesley Clark; his son, John Wesley Clark; and his granddaughter Charity Dawn Clark.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Jean West; his brother, Herbert Ray Clark; his son, David K. Clark II and wife Mary Jayne; daughter, Desiree Tarter and husband Terry; his grandchildren, Jared Clark, Mindy Clark, Amber Boykin, Amanda Tarter and Zachary Tarter; his great-grandchildren, River Fite, Elizabeth Mooring, Ashton Clark, Samantha Clark, Noah Boykin and Jackson Tarter, with many beloved in-laws, nieces and nephews.

The family will gather for a small, intimate celebration of his life. Kenneth will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
