Dayle Bouton Rogers

Dayle Bouton Rogers of Mesquite, TX, age 64, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022, after succumbing to breast cancer.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Wilma and sister, Mary "Bear." She is survived by many: her spouse, Raymond Plasek, her children; Jennifer and her husband Joey, Jasmyn and her husband Andrew, Alyssa and her husband Sean, her father, Irving Bouton, sisters, Patricia Bouton and Samantha Brookshire, and brothers; Ralph Bouton, Jason Bouton, and Jonathan Bouton. She was a grandmother and "Mimi" to five grandchildren: Ethan, Rylee, Kaori, Savannah, and Harper.

She was born on July 1, 1958, in Albany, NY, to Wilma Becker and Irving Bouton. Her childhood was full of adventures with her siblings and cousins. She loved painting, coloring, scrapbooking, and making things beautiful. She spent much of her time outdoors, gardening, and mowing lawns. Her favorite recent project was creating the rock fountain in their backyard where she and Raymond spent their time. She spent lots of time with her family. She was drawn to the ocean, loved her toes in the sand, and tan lines.

She was such a wonderful, loving person who filled the room with joy and laughter. She was compassionate, understanding, and courageous. She was the best mother and the best friend. She will be missed.

A celebration of her life will be held at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, TX on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 2pm.

The family would like to thank the team of doctors through Parkland and UT Southwestern for their care over the last 7 years, as well as Bright Star Hospice for their compassion in her final days. They would also like to thank friends and family for their support and prayers, and specifically Laura Hynson, who spent time caring for Mom until her passing and made her feel very loved.
