Dicky Wade

WADE, Dick of Forney, born July 26, 1939, left us on June 11, 2010 due to his battle with cancer and pneumonia. Dick is preceded in death by his parents, Willard & Thelma; brothers, Johnny and Jerry; sister, Rhonda. Survived by his wife and best friend of 28 years, Dodi; children, Dicky Wade & wife, Britney,Blake Wade, Lynette Gatlin & husband,Greg;8 grandchildren, Aerin, Brice, Blake, Garrett, Mason, Bayli, Preston & Hannah; sisters, Beverly, Grace & Shirley; brothers, Danny, Glen & Marty; several nieces & nephews. Next to his family, Dick loved his music and singing. We will dearly miss his talent, but now he is singing with all his friends that were waiting for him in a better place. We would like to say a special Thank You to all the doctors and nurses at Medical City of Dallas for all their care over the last 3 years. Service will be 10:00AM Monday June 14, 2010 at New Hope Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00PM " 8:00PM.
