Donna Curts

Donna Faye Curts, of Forney, Texas passed away on May 28, 2024 at the age of 75. Donna was the devoted mother of John I. Curts (Ginna), Brian D. Curts (Meg), and Stephanie Curts; loving "Nonna" of Ashly Jones (Chad), Candace Curts, John Tyler Curts (Ryleigh - fiancé), and Finn Curts; cherished great-grandmother of Charlotte Jones and Ava Jones; dear sister of Ricky Lee (Paula) Foster; beloved niece of Merlene Miller.

Donna was born in Dallas, Texas to parents Donald and Betty Foster. She attended Lancaster High School where she was a majorette. After high school, Donna joined the workforce in various capacities and ultimately retired from Cornerstone Credit Union in February of 2021. Nonna's greatest joy was watching her children and grandchildren in their sporting events, school activities, and dance recitals. She loved cooking, baking, reading, and spending time with her family. Her home was always a welcoming haven for family and friends, where countless memories were made over shared meals, heartfelt conversations, and her famous chocolate pie.

A celebration of Donna's life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas with visitation at 1:00 pm and a memorial service at 2:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to attend and share their memories. Her gentle spirit, love, and wisdom have left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will continue to guide and inspire us.
