Funeral services for Doris Evelyn Crabtree will be held at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, on December 15, 2023; Visitation will be held from 12pm prior to the service starting 1pm. Private immediate family only burial will be held at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas.

Pallbearers will be CJ Peabody, Matthew Gallagher, Douglas Zepeda, Joseph Payne, Jacob Payne, Mason Peabody, Jonathan Payne

Doris passed away peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2023 surrounded by family. Doris Evelyn (Gober) Crabtree was born in Dallas, Texas to Clinton and Ona Mae Cleary Gober. She married Durward Edward Crabtree on February 14, 1952. They were married 45 years until his passing in 1997. In her younger years, Doris worked for the phone company as a telephone Operator, then got her real estate license and became a realtor in the Dallas area for several years. Doris was adored by her family. She loved her children, Michael and Linda and all of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Doris is survived by her children, Michael Crabtree and his wife, Donna, and Linda Gallagher and her life partner Tommy Cheek. Brothers, Clinton Gober, Jr. and James Gober and wife Dorsey. Grandchildren, Christie Gallagher, Shelly Peabody and husband CJ, Matthew Gallagher and wife Jami, Heather Ross and husband Tyler, Holly Crabtree and Haley Crabtree. Great-Grandchildren, Katie, Joseph, Jacob, Mason, Jonathan, Chloe & her husband Douglas, Lilly, Austyn, Caroline, Hannah & Dakota. Great-Great Grandchildren, Evan and Iris.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
