Dulcie Lyn Walters

Dulcie Lyn Walters (née Boehnlein) left us unexpectedly on May 1st, 2026. Beloved mother of Bailey Walters. Daughter of Jon Boehnlein and Dorothy Meggison. Sister of Tammra Wilson Young and Timothy Boehnlein. Fur mom & grandmother of Sansa, Gigi, Timon, Boogie, and Theo. Further survived by nieces and nephews, Amanda, Harmony, Luzmaria, Sheldon, Travis, and Tara, and close friends Sue and Brenda.

Dulcie was born in Wisconsin and raised in both Texas and Wisconsin. Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 5, she still lived her life to the fullest and never let it define her. She earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting and had a successful career in various roles. Dulcie's many abilities, work ethic, and attention to detail were unmatched. She will be missed by the many people who knew and worked with her.

A devoted mother, Dulcie never missed a dance competition, school recital, or opportunity to support her daughter. She had a passion for gardening and cooking, always eager to try new recipes and share them with her daughter. As a lifelong animal lover, Dulcie shared her home with many dogs and cats throughout her life, cherishing each as part of her family.

Final arrangements have been made privately. Dulcie's humor, dedication, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
