Our sweet Dylan unexpectedly passed from this life on Friday, October 14, 2022. Dylan Pierce Hansen was born March 16, 2001 to parents, Ramm and Wendy Hansen. He was the youngest of our seven children.
Dylan was sweet and kind, always concerned about others. He had the sweetest smile and a cute sense of humor to go with it. He was always making funny faces and making us all laugh. When he was younger, he was very active, doing tricks on the trampoline, doing backflips off our stone mailbox and he loved riding his skateboard, scooter and dirt bike. These activities very often landed him in the urgent care.
Dylan attended Forney High School where he played marimba and keyboard in the marching band. He made his mom's heart happy when she attended every football game and competition. He recently discovered he loved to read, reading a book a week, and he just finished the Book of Mormon twice in the past year.
Dylan was a very hard worker. He was very precise, organized and quite the perfectionist. He was an apprentice electrician who worked with his dad at our Forney Electric business. He knew what he was doing and was very neat and efficient. The day he passed he and his dad had worked together and when he was leaving, he told his dad that he loved working with him and it'd been a good day. His last words were, "I love you, dad."
Dylan adored his siblings and they loved being together. He is preceded in death by his older brother, Kyle. He leaves behind five amazing sisters and their families: Denella (Hansen) and husband Jim McCormick and their children, Chloe, Kaia, and Caleb; Meagan Hansen and her two boys, Kade and Ari; Mallory (Hansen) and husband Abraham Moreno and their two boys, Bruce and Levi; Abby (Hansen) and husband Aaron Meunier; McKenzie (Hansen) and husband Dalton Andreasen and his German Foreign Exchange brother, Max Anders. Also survived by his parents, Ramm and Wendy Hansen. He was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by his family.
