Edris M. Carr

Edris Elaine Morgan was born January 7, 1930 in Tampa Florida to Christophene and R. Alvin Morgan.

She attended Florida State University with a double major in English and Math.

Soon after graduating she married Sgt. Lewie Frank Carr of the United States Air Force.

She is survived by her son, Don Carr and wife Evelyn, grandchildren Jessica Cavanagh, Jillian Sternke and husband Aaron, Whitney Douglas and husband Chase, great grandchildren, Elijah Wiggers, Eve Sternke, Connor and Riley Douglas and numerous relatives.

Edris was preceded in death by husband Major Lewie Frank Carr, her parents Christophene and R. Alvin Morgan, her daughter Kathie C. Moore.  She had another son Lewie Frank Carr Jr. (whereabouts unknown).

Edris spent her life as an educator, teaching every grade including holding the office of Dean of Girls. She was the principal in two different schools.

Edris was a member of Grace Fellowship in Mesquite, TX for 27 years.

She went to be with her Lord Jesus October 17, 2021 in Dallas, TX.
