Edward Bruce Fletcher

Edward Bruce Fletcher, age 73, passed away on January 22, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. Bruce is survived by his son, Russell Fletcher, of Balch Springs, Texas; his daughter, Rebecca Fletcher, of Mesquite, Texas; and his grandchildren, Phoenix Sherry Schaps, Autumn Adele Schaps, and Maverick Reed Schaps, of Mesquite, Texas; sisters, Gail Samuels of Taylor, Texas; Molly Hinkley and husband Richard of Edgewood, Texas; Margaret Forthman and husband Rick of Spiro, Oklahoma; Beth Ashley and husband William of Rowlett, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell Howard Fletcher, and Elizabeth Jane (Anderson) Holdman; and his wife, Merry Adele Fletcher. Bruce was born on September 28, 1948, in Dallas, Texas to his parents Russell Howard Fletcher and Elizabeth Jane (Anderson) Holdman. A Memorial Service is in the process of being planned at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project in his honor.
