Efren M. Garcia

Efren Martinez Garcia, originally from Zacatecas, Mexico, built a life rooted in hard work, family, and dedication after making Dallas, Texas, his home. He passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering commitment to those he cherished.

Efren was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wilma Lee Garcia (Latta), with whom he shared many years of love and partnership.

He is lovingly remembered by his five children from his first marriage to Juanita Garcia (Oyervides): Sylvia E. Garcia, Liliana Garcia, Sofia J. Garcia, Efren Garcia Jr., and Cynthia (Garcia) Gonzales. He also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Efren was committed to a long and dedicated career, earning the respect of his colleagues through his strong work ethic and reliability during his twenty-five-year tenure with the City of Dallas.

Though he is no longer with us, Efren's love, wisdom, and example will continue to guide his family for generations to come. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

May he rest in eternal peace. The family appreciates your love, prayers, and support during this time. A private Celebration of Life will be held.
