Elizabeth Dolina Kassab

Elizabeth Dolina (Farmer) Kassab went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in her sleep at her home in Sunnyvale, TX on Dec. 16, 2020 at age 97. The bonnie lass was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on Christmas Eve in 1922. The love of her life was John L. Kassab to whom she was married for 63 years. Known affectionately as Betty, she was a tireless church worker and supporter of evangelical causes. Over the decades she spearheaded many vacation Bible schools, Sunday schools, youth Bible studies, church socials and taught 1st grade for years at a Christian school. She was an avid world traveler with John, and graced state rooms on dozens of cruise ship voyages around the globe. She was also a gourmet cook specializing in Middle Eastern cuisine. She is survived by her son Dr. Bruce Raymond Kassab, daughter Lori Kassab Brackett, sister Grace Starmack and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her earthly tent lies at the Mesquite Cemetery beside her beloved husband. It’s a braw bricht moonlicht nicht the nicht. It’s a’richt, ye ken.
