He was the beloved husband of Omega Sagun Ramos and cherished brother to Evelyn Ramos Reyes. A dedicated servant of God, Ephraim's life was a testament to his unwavering passion for youth and campus ministry, church outreach, and serving marginalized communities.

Ephraim's commitment to his faith began early in life, as he was raised alongside his four siblings in the northern Philippines. His journey led him to pursue a Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary in the Philippines, which he completed in 1994. He went on to become the founding pastor of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Bantug, Isabela Province, where he served for seven years before taking on the role of pastor at San Mateo UMC.

In 2001, Ephraim and Omega migrated to the United States, where he continued his ministry as W. T. Handy Young Adult Missioner of the Board of Global Ministries at Umphress Road UMC in Dallas, Texas, and later as Associate Pastor, focusing on outreach and mission work until 2011.

Alongside his spiritual endeavors, Ephraim also worked as a billing clerk at Medsource Health Care System for many years. He had a unique fascination with lighthouses, collecting art and figurines that celebrated these beacons of light. Ephraim's joyous spirit, warm heart, and generous nature left an indelible mark on all who knew him, and his legacy continues to inspire those he served.

Ephraim was preceded in death by: mother Susana Flores, father Egmidio Ramos and siblings Camerlito, Julieta and Isagani.
