Eric Gore

Eric Lee Gore, born on June 18, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, at the age of 65. Eric was a devoted father and grandfather, leaving behind his sons, Malcolm Gore, and Tyler Gore; daughter, Hanna Cox; and his beloved mother, Eda Gore. He was also proud of his son-in-law, Eliott Cox, and cherished his two granddaughters, Lena and Sadie.

Eric had an enthusiasm for life that shone through in everything he did. He began racing BMX bicycles and go-karts at a young age, later discovering his passion for Cross Country and Enduro racing, as well as RC racing. Photography was another of his loves, with notable achievements including winning ribbons at the State Fair and having his work published in The Dallas Morning News. He had a deep appreciation for Native American culture and art, and enjoyed sharing that passion with others.

Eric shared 23 years of marriage with Diana Gore, and provided for a family filled with love, laughter and adventure. He was a Leader for his sons in the Boy Scouts and Royal Ambassadors and shared his passion for photography with his daughter.
Eric helped his mother and father run an office machines business established by his grandfather. At about the age of 40, he began working at Telecom and continued there until retiring early to take care of his mother.

Eric was most known for his ability to connect with people, engaging in conversations about a wide range of topics, and participated in several hobby clubs that reflected his varied interests.

He will be missed and celebrated by family and friends.
