Ernesto Jorge Cuevas

Ernesto Jorge Cuevas “George” was born on December 17, 1935 in Valparaiso, Chile and went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. He proudly worked and retired from Microspace Instruments. He is preceded in death by his parents Ernesto Cuevas and Maria Katalinic; his sister Carmen Gloria and his son Cristian. He is survived by his sister Ximena Cuevas and brothers Patricio Cuevas and Sergio Cuevas; six children Maria Victoria Cuevas Castro, Gonzalo Cuevas Castro, Maria Carolina (Rodrigo) Cuevas Castro, Carmen (Shawn) Shoemaker, George (Sue) Cuevas, Rod (Teresa) Cuevas; fourteen grandchildren Travis, Tess, Austin, Alex, Ryan, Gabriel, Sammy, Alondra, Simon, Victor, Daniela, Javier, Fernanda and Javiera and five great grandchildren Josefa, Martina, Emma, Olivia and Florencia. He also leaves behind a host of nephews and nieces. He loved his family more than life itself. In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorial contributions be made to dementiasociety.org
