Evan Jacob Wilson, our precious boy, left us unexpectedly on October 18, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family. Evan accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age and grew up a faithful servant. We find comfort knowing that Evan is fully enveloped in God's loving, eternal embrace until we see him again.
Evan lived a life of purpose and passion for learning, an active lifestyle, and found joy in helping others learn. Evan graduated with many honors from Rowlett with a dual High School degree and Associates Degree in Software Development. He was a high achieving student who attended Oklahoma State with goals of a Dual Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical Space and Mechanical Engineering. He was passionate about his engineering classes, and it brought him much joy to talk about what he was learning and what he planned to achieve.
Evan was adored by those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was an old soul, wise beyond his years, full of life and kindness. He was known for his beautiful mind, sharp wit, and delightfully sarcastic sense of humor. His beautiful smile luscious locks, and impeccable dress at all times was the stuff of legends. He will be loved and remembered every moment of every day, and we praise God for the gift of Evan's life and all of the joy he brought us.
He is survived by his father, James Wilson; mother, Cindy Wilson; brother, Hayden Wilson; along with his grandparents, Wesley and Carolyn Threlkeld of Seagoville, TX; his aunt and uncle, Cheri and Darrell Grooms of Forney, TX; his cousin, Will Grooms of Forney, TX; and his uncle, Michael Threlkeld of Little Elm, TX.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Oklahoma State University Foundation College of Engineering or your home church.
