Fairy Lee Narramore Cooper was born on March 31, 1947 , in Muskogee Oklahoma and made her transition into Heaven on February 3, 2026 from Mesquite, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, Johnny P. Narramore , by her mother, Ruth Day Narramore , and her husband Darwin Paul Cooper, and her very close first cousins, Spunky and Shirley Reeves from Bonham, Texas. Fairy was married to Darwin from 1983 until his passing in 2002. She is survived by her son, John David Cooper, her granddaughter, Finley Jane Cooper, her sister Debra Narramore Aleman, brother- in-law Dan Aleman, Jr., of Mesquite , Texas. Fairy dearly loved her nieces Jennifer Salazar, (married to Tito Salazar), and Stephanie Aleman and her nephew Joshua Aleman (married to Holly Aleman). She took great joy in her grandnieces Aiyana Brown and Daniella Salazar; her grandnephews Hudson Castillo, Daniel Aleman, Garrison Aleman, Henry Aleman, and Simon Aleman; and her second cousins Christy and Troy Lasseigne and their adult children Taylor, Sydnee, and Derril.

 Fairy was baptized in 1990 at the Cedar Hill Church of Christ by Steve Lewis. She became a faithful member of Meadowview Church of Christ in Mesquite, Texas , in 2003, where her devotion and quiet service reflected her deep love for the Lord. 

She retired after more than 22 years of dedicated service in records management with Guidestone Financial Resources , formerly known as the Annuity Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. Fairy enjoyed many creative and meaningful hobbies , including computer work, quilting, reading, and writing. She also devoted her time to preparing Vacation Bible School lessons for Ukraine, a ministry that reflected her generous heart and global compassion.

Fairy Lee Cooper will be remembered for her faith, diligence, creativity, and love for family and service. She will be greatly missed by her family and by all who knew and loved her.

 Her favorite passage in the Bible is Psalm 91 which begins with, “He who dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress : My God, in Him will I trust.” (Psalms 91:1-2)
