Faye Gibbons

Sylvia Faye Gibbons was born in Chandler, Texas, on August 23, 1935 to Haston and May Bell Poe. Her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ carried her to her heavenly home on September 3, 2021.

Faye is preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Joe Earl Gibbons and she is survived by their children: Daisy Cook & husband Moose, Terry Gibbons & wife Mary Ann; 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.

Faye had a servant's heart. There weren't many times you would see her sitting down. She wanted to take care of everyone, especially her husband Joe and her family. You never went hungry or thirsty in her presence and she would put others before herself. She never missed an event to support her kids and grandkids. Faye was a wonderful example of what a Proverbs 31 woman should look like. Her family definitely called her Blessed and she was a blessing to all who knew her. She was a role model for the future generations to come.

She loved her family and her church family with her whole heart. Faye’s life was the perfect example of what Christ-like love looks like and she will be missed dearly until we meet again!
