George Gregory Brown, 51, of Mesquite passed away, Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021
Greg was born in Garland, TX on Jan. 20, 1969. He graduated from NMHS in 1987 and had a long-time career that he loved as a licensed A/C contractor.
Greg has always been a hard worker and loved helping others. He was known by everyone for his humor and laughter. He has never met a stranger and had the biggest heart. He will be missed dearly by all his family and friends. Greg was well known by everyone for being that man that would always give his shirt off his back for anyone who needed it.
Greg is survived by his parents, Tom and Suasan Irons of Kaufman, sister and husband, Roger and Christi Crump of McKinney, niece and nephew, Alexis Crump of Lewisville and Blake Crump of McKinney, Aunt Beverly Thompson of Garland, cousins, Keith, Karl and Kelly Thompson of Garland, Uncle Johnny and Aunt Karen Harrod, cousins, Stacey Harrod of Arlington, Jennifer and Heather Harrod of Oklahoma, and many other family and friends.
Greg is preceded in death by his fiancé, Trisha Smith of Mesquite, grandparents, Laynie and Christine Harrod of Oklahoma, Uncle George Harrod and Aunt Teresa Harrod of Oklahoma and bestfriend, Johnny Brown of Mesquite.
The funeral will be at New Hope Funeral Home of Sunnyvale, 500 US-80, Sunnyvale, TX 75182 at 12:00 pm. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021. The visitation will be Friday, January 15, 2021 from 6:00-8:00pm. The Burial will be in Oklahoma at 3:00 following the service.
The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this time.
