Gerald Elmer Moore Jr. was born in Paris Texas on January 13th 1943 to Gerald Elmer Moore Sr. and Ora Eloise Dungan. He passed away March 14, 2023 in Dallas Texas.
As a young boy growing up he played baseball, football and during his high school years played basketball. He loved sports and loved watching any sport on TV, including the reruns, even if he knew the outcome.
During his life, Gerald worked in sales, worked as a draftsman, and later worked as a carpenter where he owned and operated his own construction company for a while.
He was a youth Sunday School teacher while living in Deer Park, TX and participated in many activities of the kids in the church as well as his own children.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years Barbara Moore. Together they have 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, brothers; Guy M Moore and David Moore, sisters; Cindy Moore and Sandy Moore, children; Gerald (Garry)Moore and wife Elva, Kristen Moore, Kristin Keller and husband Londion, Ryan Miller and wife Ashley; grandchildren Jessica Quinones and husband Mizael, Jeremy Moore, Tyler Kerr and wife Brianna, Mikayla Brooks, Colton Kerr, Braxton Keller, Gracie Keller, Kenzie Miller, Payton Miller, and Page Miller.
