Glenn also participated in the Nuclear Bomb testing, known as Operation Hardtack, in the spring of 1958. Following his honorable discharge, Glenn was employed by Frymire Engineering as a licensed plumber. Glenn met and married the love of his life, Ruthie in 1968. They brought together 3 children and then had 1 more to add to the group. They were married for 54 years. In 1975, after working for Frymire Engineering for many years, Glenn, with the help of Ruthie, began his own company, Dynamic Plumbing, and it became a very successful business. His two sons, Glenn and Michael, joined alongside him and worked with him until he retired in 2000. During his retirement Glenn and Ruthie enjoyed traveling in their RV and riding jet skis.
