Glenn Alan Turney

Glenn Alan Turney, beloved husband, Dad, Poppy, brother and friend, went home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2021. Glenn’s bigger than life personality and captivating smile will forever live on in the hearts of those he left behind.

Glenn and his lovely Leslie Ann were married for 27 years. Their marriage is a standing testament of love and devotion to one another through thick and thin, sickness and health.

Glenn was a proud veteran of the US Armed Forces. Throughout his life, he worked various jobs including sales and truck driving. Later in life, he pursued his favorite passion, acting, and was cast in numerous roles.

Glenn loved nothing more than to spend time with his family. He delighted in his four children, Jason Hong-Turney, Rebecca Truette, Bryce Turney and Britany LaMonica. In 2007, Glenn was promoted from Dad to Poppy with the birth of his first granddaughter, Ruby Truette. Before too long the grandchildren pack grew to 9 with the births of Mackenzie LaMonica, Hannah Hong-Turney, Natalie Truette, McCoy LaMonica, Madelyn LaMonica, Levi Truette, Micah LaMonica and Mira LaMonica (coming soon). His grandchildren will always remember him for fun times in the pool, tickle fights, and card games full of endless laughs.

Glenn also enjoyed spending his time mountain biking, acting, playing online poker, getting together with friends, watching Mavericks basketball games, traveling, and building, flying and repairing remote control airplanes.

Glenn is preceded in death by father and stepmom, Vincent and JoAn Turney, and stepdad and mother, Bob and Peggy Evans. Glenn is survived by his sisters and brothers Nancy Hughes, Pam McKee, Paula Dungan, Steven Turney and Vincent Turney and also a wide range of cherished extended family and friends.
