Gregorio Saldivar Jr., a beloved son, brother, and father, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2024 after a long hard battle with kidney and organ failure. He was called to be with God too soon at a young 38 years old.
Greg Jr. was born on September 19, 1985 in Dallas, Texas to parents Gregorio Saldivar, Sr. and Alma Delia Saldivar-Salazar at Medical City in Dallas. He attended high school at North Mesquite High School and graduated in 2004. He played football, basketball, baseball and other sports. His father loved hearing his name called out on the football field. He had a hobby collecting baseball cards and loved sports jerseys.
After graduation he worked for the family business, Nogales Produce, as a salesman. He was a natural at talking to people and selling produce. He loved taking trips to his family's hometown in Mexico.
Greggy was a fan of all sports and loved his Dallas Cowboys, Mavericks, and Texas Rangers. He also loved wrestling and the WWE.
Greg Jr. loved to dance, bootscoot, cumbia... He was the best dancer!! He was the life of the party, always cracking jokes and in good spirits. He loved music of all kinds.
He loved to eat; and boy could he!!
Greg Jr. was a proud father to Gregorio Saldivar III, and Delylah Saldivar. He Loved watching them play sports, among other activities. He was the best big brother to twin sister Sara Delia Jimenez, Alma (Nenita) Saldivar, and Angel Romeo Saldivar who he loved dearly.
Greggy has many primas and primos who he considers brothers and sisters, they were all close. His Nino and Nina, who were like 2nd parents to him, and his many Tio's and Tia's he loved dearly, along with grandparents and other close relatives.
Family was everything to Greg, he loved giving big hugs and kisses, he was a lover.
He had many friends far and wide who he still kept up with, EVERYONE LOVED HIM.
His charismatic personality and bright smile lit up the room.
He was the most caring, loving, human being and we were all blessed to know him and be around him.

A visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm on Friday, June 21, 2024 at New Hope Funeral Home (500 East Hwy 80 - Sunnyvale, Texas 75182) with a Rosary at 7:00 pm.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at St Philips the Apostle Catholic Church (8131 Military Pkwy - Dallas, Texas 75227).
A procession to the graveside will follow to New Hope Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (500 East Hwy 80 - Sunnyvale, Texas 75182).
