Guadalupe Mata

Guadalupe "Pita" Mata was born on May 31, 1963 in Cd. Juarez, Mexico. She passed away on October 17, 2023 in Dallas, Texas.

Pita, the youngest of nine children, was raised in Dallas along with her siblings. She graduated from North Dallas High School and later married and had 3 children. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.

Pita was also a great cook. Her specialty was making gorditas which she enjoyed sharing with her loved ones. The love of her family always filled her with joy. She always remained in contact with relatives; those near and far.

Pita had a wonderful way of making friends wherever she went. She was a social butterfly who loved Mariachi music and never turned down a party invitation. She loved living her life to the fullest and always had a smile on her face. And her amazing laugh was contagious.

Of all the great things we knew about Pita, one thing that can't be denied is that she was a passionate Dallas Cowboys fanatic; faithfully watching every game supporting her team.

Although Pita is now with our Lord and Savior dancing in heaven, her spirit remains in each of us. We will never forget the woman she was to all of us and will forever hold on tight to her beautiful memories.
