Helen Vance Gilb

Helen Vance Gilb, 89 passed away in Plano, Texas after a brief illness on November 7, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer T. Gilb , Stella Spicer Gilb and her son Ted Massey. She survived by her daughter Lynn Kubic (Wayne) and grandson Chris Kubic (Lauren).

Helen Vance graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Physical Education and was a member of Tri Delta sorority. She taught elementary and high school and coached several high school teams until her retirement. She enjoyed many hobbies including playing bridge, scuba diving, golf and tennis. She will be missed by her friends and family.

A private family service will be held in Plano Texas.
