Helen P. Rogers of Mesquite, born September 4, 1942, passed away on October 11, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jimmy Rogers; her father, Carmen McClure; her son, DeWayne Rogers; and her cousin, Daniel Burns.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Rogers and his wife, Angela Rogers; her daughter-in-law, Jeanie Rogers; granddaughters, Jenny Rogers and Cherish Mulford; grandsons, Zach McAlister and Josh Schlee; and great-grandchildren, Cade Mulford and Aliana Rains. She is also survived by her mother, Ruby Barnard, and her sister-in-law, Carol Chance.
A service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX 75182. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Sunnyvale, TX.
