Herbert Allen Forsythe

Herbert Allen Forsythe Jr, of Fort Worth TX, passed away on March 20, 2023 in Mesquite, Tx. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Friday, March 24, 2023 at New Hope Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Calvary Hill Baptist Church with Brother James O’Dell, church Pastor, officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by New Hope Funeral Home. Herbert (AL) was born in Fort Worth Tx, to Nina Ayers and Herbert Forsythe on July 24, 1934. He went to school in Fort Worth (Paschall High School). He married the love of his life, Patsy Ann Forsythe, on September 25, 1959 for 63 wonderful years. He was a Veteran and served in the US Army where he was awarded two sharpshooter awards and a good citizen award. He graduated from East Texas State University and began working as a Civil Engineer for Texas Instruments. Herbert (Al) is preceded in death by his sweet wife, Patsy Forsythe, his parents, Nina Ness and Herbert Forsythe, and brother, Eddy Forsythe. Herbert (Al) is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Sherri and Kyle Fortenberry, Son and daughter-in-law Robert and Liz Forsythe, Grandchildren Heather and husband Brandon Beaty, Erika Fortenberry, Liz Callen, Josh Law and Chris Law, and many special family members, friends, and loved ones.
