Irving Douglas Boyes, 87, of Dallas Texas, died November 20, 2020. Mr. Boyes was born June 21, 1933, in Kent, England, to Emily Morten Boyes and James Boyes In otherwise perfect health and continuing to work everyday Mr. Boyes suddenly contracted and succumbed to the Covid-19 virus. He served in the Royal Air Force after WWII. He attended the University of London and graduated with a degree in Geography. He played on the University soccer team. He was a business entrepreneur all day every day. He successfully built multiple companies from the ground up throughout his long and successful career. A motivator and an inspirational leader. Fearless. He is survived by his former wife and mother to his children Janice Boyes; his children, son Greg Boyes of Mckinney Tx, daughter Laura Rudolph of Irving Tx, daughter Sara Parrish of Forney Tx; daughter-in-law Judy Boyes, son-in law Lane Parrish; grandchildren Matthew Criswell, Aaron Criswell, Emily Boyes, Christina Boyes, Elizabeth Rudolph, Alexandra Anderson, Will Rudolph, Michael Rudolph, Claire Rudolph, Lydia Rudolph, Kathleen Parrish, Hannah Parrish, Arabelle Parrish, Zachary Parrish; great grandchildren Daniel Criswell, Jessica Criswell, Carlotta Criswell, Valentina Criswell and Elliot Anderson,; niece Marilyn Hooper of Australia, nephew Tony Hamilton of England; and special friend, Leigh McCormick of Flower Mound Texas,. He was preceded in death by his son Mallory Scott Boyes in 2006 at the age of 45 and by his mother, Emily Morten Boyes who passed in 1994 at the age of 100. Arrangements are with New Hope Funeral Home, 500 East Highway 80, Sunnyvale Texas 75182. Phone 972-226-2111. There will be a memorial service at New Hope on Wednesday December 16th at 2.00 pm. Visitation from 1-2 pm on the same day. All are encouraged and welcome to attend but a face mask and social distancing will be required. There will also be a Live stream of the service on the internet. The link to the service is here. A special note, Mr. Boyes loved flowers especially roses. Delivery of flowers to the memorial service will be welcomed. May God rest my father’s soul.
