CLICK HERE TO VIEW J.D's DIGITAL PROGRAM Private First Class E3 Jackson Delaney Davis was born to J.B and Fay Davis In Grand Prairie Texas on July 25, 1944 and passed away July 20th, 2021 in the comfort of his home. J.D was preceded in death by his father James Ben and mother Fay Ellen Davis, brother Steve Davis and loving wife of 51 years Gayle Davis. J.D leaves the following family members to love and cherish his memories, his son and daughter-in-law Paul and Mary Davis; granddaughter Gina Davis; grandsons: James Davis, Danny Valencia, Julio Valencia; great-granddaughter, Teagan Davis Rainie Valencia; great-grandsons: Kyler Emling, Cayson Valencia, Iose Valencia, Maria Valencia; sister and brother-in-law Gwen and V.D Romans; a host of nieces and nephew and a host of great niece and nephews followed by family and friends who loved him very much. J.D served our country in Vietnam in the 9th infantry from 1966-1969 and was awarded the Purple Heart on October 2nd 1967. J.D was a God fearing Christian man who will be truly missed by all of his family and friends so dearly. You never said I’m leaving, you never said goodbye, you where gone before I knew it and only god knew why. A million times I needed you a million times I cried if love alone could have saved you you never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, in life I love you still in my heart you hold a place that no one could ever fill, it broke my heart to lose you but you didn’t go alone for part of me went with you the day god took you home. Romans 14:8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord
