James Lyles

LYLES, James A. born September 16, 1932, passed away October 29, 2003. Preceded in death by his dad, James Verlon Lyles, mother, Cassie Sweeney Lyles, and his first wife, Annie Faye Mashburn Lyles. From that union came, Stephen Allen Lyles, wife, Phyllis, of Caledonia, Ohio, Jeffrey Scott Lyles of Dallas, James Daniel Lyles & wife Kim of Forney, TX., grandsons, Stephen Todd, Chase, Logan & Luke; granddaughters, Jessica, Katrina, Shayna & Kara. He is survived by wife, Kay Lyles of Seagoville; daughters, Lisa Ward & husband Trent of Kaufman; Laurinda Scott of Kaufman, Kristen, Krystal & Chelsea Lyles; sons, John, Darin & Billy Quay Lyles all of Seagoville; granddaughter, Chandi Ward and grandson, Brayden Scott.The Lyles have 7 foster children and a host of friends and relatives. James Lyles was a long time resident of Seagoville, TX.He was a Baptist minister for 38 years.His last full time church was New Heights Baptist Church in Dallas.He is a current member of Cottage Heights Baptist Church of Kaufman. Services will be 10:00AM Saturday, November 1, 2003, at the Cottage Heights Baptist Church, 200 4th St., Kaufman, TX.
