James Matthew Vittitow

VITTITOW, James Matthew of Mesquite, was born on April 21, 1980 in Dallas, TX. to Jay & Ginger Vittitow. He entered into heaven on August 2, 2010 at the age of 30. He fought the good fight and fought it well. He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, J. W. & Nelva Jo Vittitow; paternal great grandparents, Walter & Debra Vittitow, Mim Jackson; maternal great grandfather, Thomas B. Jackson; maternal grandfather, Thomas Allan Staten; uncle, Ricky Allen Staten Matthew is survived by parents, Jay & Ginger Vittitow of Mesquite; brother, Jonathan Vittitow of Mesquite; grandmother, Marjorie Staten of Mesquite; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Matthew loved Jesus and wanted everyone to know about his very best friend and Savior. He also loved people. He never met a stranger. He loved Mr. Bear and was an avid collector of stuffed animals; more than that he loved helping and being involved with people at church from AWANA; to Sunday School class, and wherever he could lend a hand. He loved to play practical jokes and he would find ways to show love for others. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Baylor Hospital and Medical City. They would also like to say thank you if you said a prayer, thought of them, brought food, said a kind word, visited at the hospital, or were just a part of our lives. We love you and God has used in a very special way. Matt thought the world of all of you and cannot wait to see you in heaven. Service will be 2:00PM Thursday August 5, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Sunnyvale, 3018 N. Beltline, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00PM " 8:00PM. In lieu of flowers please make donations to First Baptist Sunnyvale or Joni & Friends Camp.
