Jane Perry Schmidt

Jane Perry Schmidt, age 68, passed away on August 6, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. She was born April 15, 1952 to Smith Perry and Mary Alice Perry. Jane cannot be summarized by listing her previous employment or education, it does nothing but serve to distract from the beautiful soul that she was. Her keen wit and humor served to put smiles on her friends' faces. She always went above and beyond for her friends and family, especially in times of need. Jane was a great mother, wife, and friend for those who had the fortune of knowing her. Words simply cannot adequately convey what Jane was to those who knew her. She enjoyed finding lost treasures at estate sales, gardening, puzzles of all types, mystery and crime documentaries, and spending quality time with her loved ones. The world was a better place for having had her in it, and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Randall Schmidt and her parents. She is survived by her son Douglas William Page; sister Pamela Perry Gallagher; brother Donald Perry; grandchildren Chance William Page, Lucas Franklin Page, Jordan Schmidt, Tyler Schmidt, Rylynn Schmidt, and Dalen Schmidt.
