Janice A Boyes

Janice Annette Norma O'Hara Boyes, 89, passed away on February 15, 2022

Janice was born October 26, 1932 in Hillingdon, England to Olivia Manning O'Hara and Aubrey Richard O'Hara. She was the fourth of five sisters.

She attended Lady Margaret's School for Girls in Parsons Green, Fulham, London. She played net ball and worked for Michelin before her marriage to Irving Boyes.

Following the birth of her first child, their young family immigrated to Canada, where they lived for 12 years. She then immigrated to the U.S. in Dallas, Texas along with her husband at that time, Mr. Boyes, and their four children.

She enjoyed a long career at Lone Star Life Insurance, as a manager.

She is survived by her children: son, Greg Boyes of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Laura Rudolph of Irving, Texas; daughter, Sara Parrish of Caddo Mills, Texas; daughter-in-law, Judy Boyes; son-in-law, Lane Parrish; grandchildren, Matthew Criswell, Aaron Criswell, Emily Boyes, Christina Boyes, Elizabeth Rudolph, Alexandra Anderson, Will Rudolph, Michael Rudolph, Claire Rudolph, Lydia Rudolph, Kathleen Parrish, Hannah Parrish, Arabelle Parrish, and Zachary Parrish; great-grandchildren, Daniel Criswell, Jessica Criswell, Carlotta Criswell, Valentina Criswell, Elliot Anderson, Lily Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mallory Scott Boyes, in 2006 at the age of 45, and her mother, Olivia Barbara Newburgh Manning O'Hara, who passed away in 1935 at the age of 27 following the birth of her youngest daughter.
