Janie Elaine Bahm

     Janie was born to Lowell and Jewel Nita Adair in Commerce, Texas November 10 ,1949.  She was the third of five children and grew up in Pleasant Grove after her parents moved from Cumby.  She graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School in 1968.  After graduating from high school, she attended cosmetology school and graduated in 1970. 

     Janie entered the medical field as an office manager and insurance clerk for Dr. Robert Young, Podiatrist in Mesquite for 21 years.  After her retirement, she focused on her family.

     Her wish for her life is to be a celebration.  Janie is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Michael.  She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Clifford, her sons Kevin and his wife Kristi of Carrollton, Randall of Mesquite, stepson Brett of Louisiana, great nephew, Brennon and his wife Emily of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, her sisters Sue Adair Hirsch of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, Amy Adair Ashley and her husband Tommy Sr of Hallettsville, and brother Robert Adair of Mesquite, Texas. granddaughters Alexandria Bahm of Rockwall, Kasie Vandiver of Carrollton, great great nephews Connor and Cowen of Ponchatoula. Louisiana; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

     The family would like to express a sincere thank you to all the nurses and staff of Visiting Nurse Association Hospice & Palliative Care. 

     The memorial service will be at 10am on Thursday December 16^th at New Hope Funeral Home 500 E Hwy 80 Sunnyvale, TX 75182.
