Javier Maldonado

Javier Maldonado, born on March 14, 1958, in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, departed from this world on April 8, 2026. A devoted husband to Santiaga Maldonado for 30 years, Javier's love for his family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his children, Jose, Isaias; and his beloved daughter, Rafaela Arriaga; and his son-in-law, Frank Arriaga. His legacy continues through his three adored granddaughters, Anahi, Jacqueline, and Abigail Arriaga, who brought him countless moments of joy.

Javier's passions intertwined seamlessly with his daily life-watching boxing, delving into history, and spending cozy evenings at home with family by his side. He had an insatiable thirst for knowledge, often found lost in the pages of a book or captivated by the stories of the past. His love for music and dance brought laughter and celebration to the gatherings that united his loved ones lives of his nieces Maria Elena, Sierra, nephews James, Marcos and siblings, including Lucy, Domingo, Zoraida, Eva, and Enid.

A proud Army veteran, Javier embodied the virtues of loyalty and strength. His spirit will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. Family and friends will gather for a visitation at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel on April 13, 2026, beginning at 4:00 pm. A heartfelt funeral service will be held the following day, April 14, 2026, at 2:00 pm, with an encore live stream for those who wish to join from afar. Javier will find his final resting place at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on April 23, 2026, at 11:30 am. A life well-lived, his memory will continue to dance through our hearts.
