Jerry Boyd Crowley

Jerry Boyd Crowley went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 7th, 2026. He was reunited with his high school sweetheart and wife of 66 years after her passing on June 18th, 2026, just 50 days earlier. He was born on March 23, 1941, to his parents Cliff & Ossie Crowley in Houston, Texas.

Jerry grew up in Hamlin, Tx and found the love of his life Cherry Crowley during high school from the neighboring town of Stamford, TX. He went to further his education at Texas A&M but couldn't bear to be away from his sweetheart for that many years. They were married in 1960, and she moved to College Station with Jerry where he finished his degree in 1963.

Jerry began his professional career working for Boeing on the NASA Saturn V space rocket program in Huntsville, Alabama. After 18 months he transferred to White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico to help with testing of the Saturn Rockets. He and Cherry couldn't shake their love of Texas and moved to Dallas in 1965. They bought a house in Mesquite, TX. in 1966 and never moved again.

Jerry was preceded in death by both his parents and his brother, one grandchild, and his wife. He is survived by his 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

Jerry loved his Lord and Savior and Church family. Services to celebrate his passing will be held on Friday, August 14th at Sunnyvale First Baptist Church with visitation at 1:00pm and services at 2:00pm. He will be laid to rest alongside his wife at Fairview Cemetery in Tuxedo, Tx on Saturday at 1:00pm with a private family committal service.
