Jerry Harold Tramel, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on August 14, 2025, at the age of 72. He was born on January 12, 1953, in Linden, Texas, and spent his later years residing in Mesquite, Texas. Jerry proudly served in the United States Navy, a testament to his dedication and love for his country.

Jerry is survived by his devoted wife, Patti Tramel, and his three daughters and son in laws: Jamie and Christy Starrett, Russell and Carri Honeycutt, and Jason and Catrina Jones. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Hannah Jones, Claire Honeycutt, Jamyson Starrett, Owen Honeycutt, Kate Jones, and Jakeb Starrett. He is also survived by his siblings Orvis Tramel, Charles Tramel, Verl Tramel, and Beverly Clark. He enjoyed spending time with his family, particularly watching his grandchildren's sporting activities, which brought him joy and smiles .

Family and friends will gather for visitation at New Hope Funeral Home, Stateroom A, on August 18, 2025, at 6:00 PM, as they celebrate Jerry's remarkable life. He will be laid to rest at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211. Jerry's legacy of love, laughter, and service will be cherished by all who knew him.

Jerry was preceded in death by His Parents Arthur and Maggie Mae Tramel, and his siblings, Royce, Cliff, Juanita, Bet "Betty", Jake, Annis, Linda, Jimmie Lee and Margret.
