John Price

John Milton Price Sr., beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 81. He was born on January 4, 1944, in New London, Connecticut, and dedicated his life to his family and career in private security, working with Allied Universal Security Services for many years.

John cherished his family deeply, leaving behind his wife, Martha Price, his children Cathy Urso, John Price Jr., and Robin Price, as well as his son-in-law Angel Rosa and daughter-in-law Melissa Price, and many grandchildren and great-grandchdren. He was the proud grandfather of Diana Funderburk, who brought him immense joy. John was known for his loving spirit, often praying for others, even strangers, at a moment's notice.

In his leisure time, John found great pleasure in hunting and fishing, activities that allowed him to connect with nature and create lasting memories. He enjoyed watching the antics of Jimmy Swagger and took pride in his skills, especially when he reconstructed a World War II Jeep and a bulldozer. His family will forever remember him not just for his accomplishments, but for the warmth and love he shared with everyone around him.

John's life will be honored and celebrated by his family and friends in the coming days as they gather to share stories, reflect on his legacy, and say their final goodbyes.
