John Thomas Thompson

John Thomas Thompson was born in Dallas, TX. January 8, 1952, and died in Dallas March 4, 2022. He was born to parents John David and Ina Lee Thompson who predeceased him. Tommy played football at E.B. Comstock Jr. High and at H Grady Spruce High School. Tommy joined the Army in June 1970 and was discharged June 30, 1973, while in the Army his job was motor transport operator (chauffeur). He also received a National Defense Service Medal – Sharpshooter M-16 and Expert M-14. In 1987 he became a license land surveyor and spent most of his time working in the field in the Dallas Metro area. He is survived by 3 brothers, Jimmy, Bill and Freddy, sister-in-law Carol, 2 nieces – Linda Lawson, Angela Arriaga, 2 nephews – James Thompson and Teddy Thompson. He also has 4 great nieces and 3 great-great nieces. He will be missed.
