Joseph Hewitt

Joseph Brian Hewitt, lovingly known as "Joby," passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 47. Joby was known for his love of the outdoors, especially hunting, and for enjoying time watching sports. He cherished time spent with his family and was deeply loved by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Coy Hewitt; his brother, Jeff Hewitt; his nephew, Corey Flores; and his grandparents.

Joby is survived by his mother, Bertha Hewitt; his daughter, Makayla Hewitt; and his siblings, Adam Hewitt, Dawn Salinas, Samantha Flores, and Christina Hewitt. He is also survived by his nephews, Brandon, Bubb, Eric, JJ, DJ, and Trevor; his nieces, Bree, Alli, Jewels and Lainey; his great-nephews, Grant, Lucas and Tony; and his great-nieces, Amelia, Layla and Isabella.

Joseph will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for the outdoors, and the many memories he shared with those closest to him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
