Judith Lee Sismilich

Judith Lee Sismilich, 63, of Safety Harbor, Florida, passed away on February 16, 2023, in Sunnyvale, TX, peacefully with her family by her side.

Judy was born on January 27, 1960, to Margaret Bronson in Woodstock, IL, and shortly after, moved to Florida, where she spent her childhood. She graduated from Largo Highschool in 1978.

After high school, Judy met the love of her life Terry Sismilich, and they were married on February 9, 1980, at the Chapel by the Sea in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Judy and Terry went on to have 5 daughters, Michelle (Sismilich) Sims, Kandace (Sismilich) Sica, Heather (Sismilich) Edstrand, Terri (Sismilich) Rode, & Ashlee (Sismilich) Zareczny.

Judy had a career in the mortgage industry for several years. Anyone who met her knew her true passion in life was being a wife, mother, and grandma. She genuinely enjoyed caring for and spending time with her grandchildren. Nothing made her happier.

Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Bronson, and her father-in-law Donald Sismilich. She is survived by her husband, Terry Sismilich, and her 5 daughters, Michelle Sims (Kevin), Kandace Sica (Gary), Heather Edstrand (Eric), Terri Rode (Nick), and Ashlee Zareczny (Andrew). Grandchildren, Drew, Sydney, Jacob, Chloe, Ella, Brylee, Ryland, Charlee, Abbie, Kashton, Brody, Bryson, Easton, Colton, and Taytum. Her sister, Kathie Hanger, Mother-in-law Dee Sismilich, Brother/Sister-in-laws Chris Sismilich (Liz), Lori Klebeck(Tom), and several nieces and nephews.

On Saturday, March 11, 2023, Judy's Celebration of life will begin with her family receiving friends and family from 10 am- 11 am (EST), with a memorial service to follow at 11 am at Anchor Church located at 2701 Rigsby Lane, Safety Harbor, FL 34695.
