Kathleen Webster was born on June 30, 1935 to R.L. and Eva Grindstaff in Elizabethton, Tn. She passed away in an assisted living facility at the age of 90 in Sunnyvale, Tx on June 7, 2026. She had 2 brothers and 2 sisters - Junior, Jabo, Carleen and Jerry. She had 2 sons, Bill and Kevin. She is survived by Carleen, Jerry, Bill and Kevin. She had 4 grandchildren, Max, Samuel, Juliana and Elena.
Kathleen went to school teaching after college and was an exceptional teacher. Any troublesome kids were sent to be in her class because she could handle them. She was a wonderful mother to her young children. She watched carefully over their diet, made sure homework was done well, insured they were engaged in various sports and music, and most importantly showed them unconditional love.
Later in life she enjoyed traveling and working on her house and land. Before assisted living, she had a younger friend Vickie who helped watch after her in her declining years. Bill and his wife, Alex and their children enjoyed visiting her in her final years. She especially enjoyed seeing Samuel, Juliana and Elena, because children were always her greatest passion.
