Kenneth Modglin

Kenneth Ray Modglin was born to parents William Modglin and Margaret Modglin in Granite City, Illinois on July 30, 1946, and passed away on March 6, 2024 at the age of 77.

Ken was a strong disciple of God, always sharing the word every chance he got. He was also the biggest family man who always did whatever he could to make sure his family was taken care of. Ken served 4 years in the United States Army and served 24 years in the Dallas police department. He will truly be missed by so many.

Ken was proceeded in death by his father, William Modglin; mother, Margaret Modglin; and brother, Ronald Modglin.

Ken leaves behind the following family members to love and cherish his memories: his wife of 54 years, Fay Modglin; daughters, Shannon Stogdill and husband Ronnie, and Heather Modglin; grandchildren, Gina Emling and husband Kyle, James Davis, Jordan Modglin, Mylee Turner, Taylor Johnson, and Tyler Allen; great-grandchildren, Teagan Davis, Kyler Emling, and Macie Emling; sister, Roberta Lewis; sisters-in-law, Liz Crye, and Lana Ellis; and a host of nieces and nephews along with great-nieces and nephews.
