A Life of Faith, Love, and Worship
With heavy hearts, but with the beautiful assurance of God’s promises, we celebrate the life of our beloved Keren. A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, wonderful sister, treasured aunt, and above all, a faithful woman of God. Keren’s story was one deeply rooted in faith. She was raised in a Christian home by her loving parents, Pastors Joaquin and Teresa, who dedicated their lives to serving the Lord and raising their family in His ways. From a young age, Keren was surrounded by prayer, worship, and the Word of God. Her parents didn’t just teach her about Jesus; they showed her what it meant to live a life devoted to Him. That foundation became the very heart of the woman Keren grew to be.
Her father, Pastor Joaquin, has since gone home to be with the Lord, and her mother, Pastor Teresa, continues to faithfully lead the very church where her father once pastored and where their family was raised in faith. What a beautiful testimony of a family whose love for Jesus has continued through generations. Keren carried that same love for the Lord throughout her entire life. She was a woman of unwavering faith, and anyone who knew her knew just how much she loved Jesus. One of her greatest joys was worshiping Him. Worship was never just something Keren did on Sundays; it was part of who she was. She loved to sing, praise, and lift her heart to the Lord. Her faith was not only something she spoke about, but something she lived. Above all, Keren loved her family wholeheartedly.
She shared her life with her beloved husband, Chuy, and together they were blessed with their two beautiful children, Hannah and Noah. Being a wife and mother was one of her greatest blessings. She loved her husband and children deeply, and her devotion to them was evident in everything she did. They were her heart, her joy, and some of God’s greatest gifts to her. Keren was also an incredible daughter, sister, and aunt.
