BARNETT, Kevin of Ft. Worth, born, April 21, 1967, passed away November 3, 2003. Survived by wife, Sofia Barnett; children, Christian, Hanae & Colin Barnett; mother, Phyllis Barnett; brother, Kenny Barnett & wife, Pam; sister, Joy Werner & husband Scott; niece, Katey Barnett; nephews, Josh Barnett, Tommy Hagerich; grandfather Fred Scoggins; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Aicha Tazi& Khalil Akhamlich; sister-in-law, Karima Akhamlich-Tazi. Preceded in death by father, Tommy Barnett; grandparents, H. C. Barnett & Eula Barnett; grandmother, Jessie Scoggins. Services will be 1:00PM Thursday, November 6, 2003 at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Caddo Mills. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. The Kevin Barnett Memorial Fund was founded on October 5th, 2003. A group of close friends and relatives have asked that a fund be established. Kevin left behind 3 beautiful children and a lovely wife after a courageous fight with cancer. Any and all donations will go directly to the family to help them in their time of need. The fund is held at Bank of America.
