In Our Hearts Forever....
La Joe Law was born on September 17, 1935 and went to Heaven on June 25, 2024 at 88 years young. Pop was born in Whitney, Texas (at the bottom of the bluff where Lake Whitney is now before it was a lake) parents were Frank and Imogene Law.
He met the love of his life Freda, in Sweetwater, Texas and married her January 15, 1953 in Hillsboro, Texas. They were married for 67 years before she passed away in 2020.
He worked in the Oil Fields of New Mexico half his life, moved to Balch Springs in 1967 and enjoyed a career in Route Sales with Mrs. Bairds Bread and retired from Frito Lay after 27 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife Freda; daughter Vicky Lanette; son Steven Alan; parents; one sister and one brother.
He is survived by son, Joe Don and wife Ruth of Canton; son, Rodney and wife LeAnne of Mabank; sister, Nelda Clay of Irving; 9 grand- children; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
